Forestella has returned with its fourth full-length album THE LEGACY, marking a major milestone in the group’s career as it reflects on nearly a decade of musical evolution.

Released on April 23, THE LEGACY is Forestella’s first studio album in approximately five years. The project encapsulates the group’s eight-year journey, bringing together its signature crossover sound with a more refined artistic identity. Member Kang Hyungho took the lead in overall production, reinforcing the group’s creative direction while preserving its core musical philosophy.

A defining record shaped by identity and growth

The album presents a cohesive narrative built on both continuity and transformation. Across 12 tracks, Forestella blends classical, pop, and rock influences, demonstrating the depth and versatility that have defined its discography.

The title track Armageddon explores the enduring essence of humanity in an age increasingly shaped by technology. Rather than portraying destruction, the song delivers a message of solidarity and hope through art. Its arrangement combines a powerful rock band sound with the group’s signature harmonies, resulting in a dramatic and expansive listening experience.

Pre-release track Still Here set the tone ahead of the album launch, while additional songs such as Nella Notte and Etude highlight a wide emotional range, reinforcing the group’s standing in the crossover genre.

Multi-version release and fan-focused details

THE LEGACY is being issued in five physical versions, including docent book and jewel editions, along with three types of photo cards. Among them, the docent book version offers a distinctive feature: a QR code that allows listeners to access track-by-track commentary recorded by the members, adding an interactive layer to the album experience.

This approach reflects Forestella’s continued effort to deepen engagement with its fanbase while offering added value beyond the music itself.

Nationwide tour to follow album launch

Shortly after the album’s release, Forestella will launch its fourth full-length concert tour, titled THE LEGACY: SYMPHONY. The tour is set to begin on April 25 in Ilsan, followed by performances in Seoul, Incheon, and Busan.

The upcoming concerts are expected to showcase the group’s live capabilities, which have been a defining element of its appeal. Known for delivering intricate vocal arrangements and orchestral staging, Forestella is likely to bring the themes of THE LEGACY to life through large-scale performances.

With this comeback, Forestella not only revisits its musical roots but also signals a renewed commitment to artistic expansion. As the group balances reflection with forward momentum, THE LEGACY stands as both a retrospective and a statement of intent for its future direction.
