Singer and actor Ok Taecyeon is set to marry his longtime partner later this month, marking a significant personal milestone while continuing group activities with 2PM.

According to reports, Taecyeon will hold a private wedding ceremony on April 24 in Seoul with his non-celebrity partner, who is four years younger. The couple has been in a relationship for approximately a decade.

Private ceremony follows long-term relationship

The wedding will be conducted in a closed setting, attended only by family members and close acquaintances. His agency, 51K, confirmed that the ceremony will remain private out of consideration for the bride, who is not a public figure.

Taecyeon publicly acknowledged the relationship in 2020, years after they began dating, and has since maintained a low-profile approach to his personal life. He previously drew attention at the 2025 KBS Drama Awards, where he expressed gratitude toward his fiancée during an acceptance speech, offering a rare public glimpse into their relationship.

Group activities continue with Tokyo Dome concert

Amid the wedding news, 2PM is also preparing for a major group milestone. The group will hold a full-member concert at Tokyo Dome in May to commemorate the 15th anniversary of its Japanese debut.

The upcoming performance carries additional significance, marking the group’s return to Tokyo Dome for the first time in a decade since their last full-group concert in Japan prior to members’ military enlistments in 2016. It also follows their October 2023 concert It’s 2PM held at Tokyo Ariake Arena, making it their first large-scale full-group show in approximately two years and seven months.

The concert, titled THE RETURN, reflects both the group’s reunion and its long-standing connection with the Japanese market, where 2PM has maintained a strong fanbase since its early expansion overseas.

Career spans music and acting

Taecyeon debuted in 2008 as part of 2PM, contributing to hit tracks such as “Again & Again,” “Heartbeat,” and “Hands Up.” Alongside his music career, he has built a steady acting portfolio, appearing in dramas including Dream High, Vincenzo, and Heartbeat.

Fellow member Hwang Chansung previously married in 2021, making Taecyeon the second member of the group to enter married life.

As Taecyeon prepares for his wedding, his simultaneous participation in upcoming group activities highlights a period of both personal and professional transition.
