KATSEYE continues to solidify its global presence after taking home two trophies at the prestigious Webby Awards, often referred to as the “Oscars of the Internet.”
According to HYBE and Geffen Records on May 16, KATSEYE won an official Webby Award for fashion brand GAP’s “Better in Denim” campaign at the 30th Annual Webby Awards.
The group also received the People’s Voice Award in the Fashion, Beauty & Lifestyle, Branded Entertainment Video & Film category, which is determined through public voting.
“Better in Denim” Campaign Became a Viral Phenomenon
The “Better in Denim” campaign, released in August 2025, became one of the biggest indicators of KATSEYE’s growing influence worldwide.
Centered around themes of individuality and diversity, the campaign reportedly generated nearly 8 billion impressions and over 400 million views. Behind-the-scenes clips, interviews, and short-form social media content featuring the members also spread rapidly across platforms, inspiring countless fan-made edits and reaction videos.
GAP CEO Richard Dickson later praised the campaign during an earnings presentation, saying audiences did not simply watch the advertisement but actively participated in its message, describing it as a moment of “cultural domination.”
International media outlets also highlighted the campaign as a “celebration of diversity,” while spotlighting KATSEYE’s identity as a group created through HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk’s K-pop training methodology.

KATSEYE Joins List of Global Icons
The Webby Awards, organized by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences since 1996, recognize achievements across digital culture including websites, social media, apps, podcasts, advertising, AI, and entertainment.
This year’s winners included major global stars such as Bad Bunny, Lionel Messi, Cardi B, Lady Gaga, Timothée Chalamet, Justin Bieber, Jimmy Fallon, Kendrick Lamar, and SZA.
KATSEYE’s rapid rise has continued beyond music. The group ranked No. 2 in Google’s “Trending Musicians” list in the United States for Year in Search 2025, appeared in YouTube’s “Trending Topic US” report, and was named TikTok’s No. 1 Global Artist of the Year in 2025.
With growing influence across fashion, music, and digital culture, KATSEYE is increasingly establishing itself as one of the most recognizable next-generation global girl groups.
