BABYMONSTER has completed the rollout of visual teasers for its upcoming mini album “CHOOM,” heightening anticipation ahead of the group’s next comeback.

On April 14 and 15, YG Entertainment sequentially released “CHOOM” visual photos through its official blog, unveiling individual posters of all members. Earlier teasers featuring Ruka and Rora drew attention for their confident and commanding presence, followed by the final reveal of Pharita and Ahyeon.

Distinct visual concept builds cohesive comeback identity

The teaser series has been anchored by a mugshot-inspired concept, blending unconventional styling with a sense of controlled intensity. Ruka stood out with twin-tail hair and bold accessories, creating a distinctive and edgy atmosphere, while Rora showcased restrained charisma through a red-toned outfit and composed expression.

The final visuals continued this direction. Pharita combined a pink-toned outfit with a brown fur vest, projecting a balance of elegance and modern edge, while Ahyeon captured attention with a patterned look and a more assertive gaze.

Across all releases, the members’ strong eye contact and varied styling approaches have contributed to a cohesive yet multifaceted concept. The teaser rollout has been noted for leaving a strong visual impression, with fans pointing to the group’s ability to adapt to bold and unconventional themes.

New album set to emphasize performance-driven sound

The group’s third mini album “CHOOM” is scheduled for release on May 4 at 6 p.m. KST. The title track of the same name is expected to highlight the synergy between music and choreography, reflecting the project’s central theme of immersion in rhythm and movement.

The teaser campaign has already generated notable engagement among global audiences, with the sequential release strategy sustaining interest and building momentum ahead of the official launch.

The comeback coincides with BABYMONSTER’s expanding global activities. The group is set to begin its second world tour with performances in Seoul this June, followed by stops across Japan, Asia, Oceania, Europe, North America, and South America.

All three scheduled Seoul concerts have sold out, underscoring strong ticket demand and the group’s growing international presence.

With the full teaser lineup now revealed, attention is shifting toward the release of “CHOOM,” as BABYMONSTER prepares to deliver a performance-focused comeback backed by a clearly defined visual identity.
