Singer Choi Yena is continuing her upward trajectory with “Catch Catch,” as the track gains traction across domestic charts and major global platforms.

The song, the title track of her fifth mini album LOVE CATCHER, has shown steady growth in Korea. As of April 13 at 9 a.m. (KST), it ranked No. 27 on the Melon TOP100 chart, reflecting sustained listener engagement beyond its initial release window.

Streaming performance and viral trends expand reach

Internationally, “Catch Catch” has demonstrated notable performance across streaming and short-form platforms. On Spotify, Yena has recorded approximately 4.86 million monthly listeners, while the track has surpassed 20 million cumulative streams.

The song’s visibility has been further amplified through its viral challenge format. On YouTube Shorts, the “Catch Catch” challenge has generated more than 100,000 user-created videos, with participation extending from second-generation artists to a wide range of idols. The track has also maintained the No. 1 position on Korea’s daily YouTube Shorts popular songs chart.

In China, the trend has gained additional scale on Douyin, where cumulative views for the challenge have exceeded 630 million, signaling strong engagement even after domestic music show promotions concluded.

Strong chart performance across Chinese platforms

The track has also established a solid presence on Chinese music platforms. On QQ Music’s weekly Korean chart (Week 15 of 2026, April 9–15), “Catch Catch” ranked No. 2, underscoring its competitiveness in the local market.

Listener metrics indicate stable consumption patterns, with daily real-time listeners averaging between 5,000 and 7,000 and peak concurrent listeners surpassing 8,500. The track has also maintained high positions on trending rankings jointly compiled by QQ Music and Weibo, as well as Tencent Music’s Korean-language chart.

These indicators point to both sustained popularity and consistent streaming behavior, reinforcing the song’s position beyond short-term virality.

Music video milestones and tour expansion

The official music video has also delivered strong results. On China’s Bilibili platform, the video has exceeded 3.8 million views and is approaching the 4 million mark. The figure ranks among the highest view counts for K-pop releases in 2026 on the platform, highlighting continued regional interest.

Building on this momentum, Yena has recently launched her 2026 YENA LIVE TOUR, starting with a successful Seoul concert. The tour is set to expand across Asia, with upcoming stops including Macau, Taipei, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.

As “Catch Catch” continues to perform across charts, streaming platforms, and social media, Yena is consolidating her position as a globally active soloist, supported by both digital engagement and live touring activities.
