K-pop group MONSTA X is set to return to U.S. television with an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, marking their first guest spot on the program in six years.
According to an official announcement from the show’s social media channels, MONSTA X will appear on the April 15 (local time) broadcast as part of promotional activities for their latest U.S. album Unfold. The return has drawn attention as a continuation of the group’s long-standing presence in the American market.
U.S. promotions highlight new album momentum
The appearance comes shortly after the release of Unfold, the group’s third full-length English-language album. With this release, MONSTA X has become the first K-pop act to issue three full studio albums in the United States.
The album features 10 tracks exploring different emotional dimensions of love. Its title track, “Heal,” builds on a layered sound structure, gradually expressing emotional restraint and release while reflecting on the complexities of relationships and the meaning of recovery.
Commercially, the album has shown strong performance. It entered the Billboard 200 and reached No. 2 on the Top Album Sales chart, reinforcing the group’s consistency in the U.S. market. The release has also drawn coverage from major outlets including Billboard, Forbes, and Access Hollywood.
In parallel, MONSTA X has been actively promoting across American broadcast platforms such as Good Morning America, iHeartRadio, and FOX11’s Good Day LA, indicating a broad media rollout strategy.

Return to familiar stage underscores global growth
MONSTA X first appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show in 2020, becoming the first K-pop group to perform on the program. At the time, they showcased “You Can’t Hold My Heart” from their English-language album All About Luv, earning attention for their live vocals and stage delivery.
The performance contributed to the group’s recognition among U.S. audiences and media, with All About Luv reaching No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and placing within the top 10 across multiple charts. The album also appeared on the Rolling Stone Top 200 Albums chart and received additional recognition from outlets such as TIME magazine.
Their upcoming return to the show is viewed as a continuation of that trajectory, highlighting both their sustained activity and expanded reach within the global music industry.
World tour plans extend international presence
Beyond broadcast promotions, MONSTA X is preparing to launch the North American leg of its upcoming world tour, 2026 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR [THE X: NEXUS], beginning in October.
The tour is expected to further solidify the group’s international presence, following a period of consistent engagement with overseas audiences through album releases and media appearances.
With a combination of chart performance, media visibility, and live touring, MONSTA X continues to position itself as a key player in K-pop’s global expansion, with its return to The Kelly Clarkson Show serving as another milestone in that ongoing trajectory.
