Park Bom Ends Exclusive Contract With Agency

Park Bom, a member of legendary K-pop group 2NE1, has officially parted ways with her agency after mutual discussions regarding her future activities.

On June 5, D-Nation Entertainment announced through its official social media channels that both sides had agreed to terminate their exclusive contract.

Focus on Health and Recovery

The agency explained that Park Bom has recently been concentrating on her health recovery and personal well-being.

According to the statement, the decision was made with respect for the artist’s stability and her preferred direction for future activities.

“Park Bom has focused on recovery and rest in recent months, and after careful discussions, we mutually agreed to conclude our exclusive contract,” the company said.

Agency Expresses Gratitude

D-Nation also thanked the singer for the time they spent working together.

The agency noted that Park Bom continued meaningful activities as a solo artist during her tenure and expressed appreciation for her dedication and efforts.

Although their professional relationship has ended, the company stated that it will continue supporting and cheering for her future endeavors.

Challenging Year for the Singer

Park Bom suspended activities in August of last year due to health-related concerns.

In the months that followed, she drew attention for a series of unexpected social media posts, including comments that sparked speculation about actor Lee Min-ho and remarks involving fellow 2NE1 member Sandara Park, prompting concern among some fans.

Despite the controversies, supporters have continued to express hope for her recovery and eventual return to music.

Looking Ahead

Park Bom debuted with 2NE1 in 2009 and became known for her distinctive vocals on hits such as “Fire,” “I Don’t Care,” and “Lonely.” She later pursued a solo career while continuing reunion activities with the group.

With her agency departure now confirmed, attention is turning to what the next chapter of her career will look like as she prioritizes her health and future plans.
