Tomorrow X Together (TXT) has achieved a major milestone in Japan, sweeping three major Oricon weekly charts and tying an all-time No. 1 record.
According to Oricon on April 22, TXT’s eighth mini album “7TH YEAR: When the Wind Stops in the Thornbush” ranked No. 1 on the Weekly Combined Album Ranking dated April 27, based on data collected from April 13 to 19. The album earned 237,407 points, calculated through a combination of physical sales, digital downloads, and streaming figures.
This marks TXT’s 14th No. 1 on the chart, tying the record for the most chart-topping albums in Oricon history across both domestic and international acts.
Strong physical and digital performance in Japan
The album also secured the top spot on both the Weekly Album Ranking and the Weekly Western Music Album Ranking, completing a triple crown. It additionally placed No. 2 on the Weekly Digital Album Ranking, demonstrating balanced strength across multiple consumption formats.
The title track “Stick With You” entered the Weekly Streaming Ranking at No. 8 and the Weekly Digital Single Ranking at No. 11, further reinforcing the group’s presence on Japan’s music charts.
Industry analysts note that TXT’s consistent performance across physical and digital metrics highlights their sustained popularity in the Japanese market, one of the most competitive territories for K-pop acts.
Global charts reflect expanding influence
TXT’s latest release has also shown strong results beyond Japan. On Billboard Japan charts for the same tracking period, the album topped the Top Album Sales chart, while the title track debuted at No. 3 on the Hot Shot Songs chart.
The group also appeared on multiple key rankings, including the Hot 100, Streaming Songs, and Download Songs charts, indicating broad-based listener engagement.
On the U.S. side, Billboard charts dated April 25 saw the album enter the World Albums chart at No. 10 and the World Digital Song Sales chart at No. 6. The track also debuted on the Global Excl. U.S. chart at No. 159, reflecting international interest even before its official local release.

Record-breaking sales and continued promotions
The album’s commercial performance has been equally notable. According to Hanteo Chart, TXT recorded over 1.8 million copies sold within the first week of release, marking their seventh consecutive million-seller in initial sales.
The group described the album’s concept as an exploration of internal anxiety and emotional tension, symbolized by a “thornbush.” In previous statements, members explained that the imagery reflects moments when emotional turbulence subsides, allowing space for reflection.
Following the album’s release, TXT has continued promotional activities across major Korean music programs, including appearances on Mnet’s “M Countdown,” KBS2’s “Music Bank,” MBC’s “Show! Music Core,” and SBS’s “Inkigayo.”
With a combination of strong chart performance, record-setting sales, and ongoing promotions, TXT’s latest achievements further solidify their standing as one of K-pop’s leading global acts.
