TWICE has set new milestones in Japan, becoming the first K-pop act—and the first overseas artist—to headline Tokyo’s National Stadium.

According to JYP Entertainment, TWICE held three additional concerts for their sixth world tour “THIS IS FOR” on April 25–26 and 28 at the iconic venue. Each show drew around 80,000 attendees, bringing the total audience to approximately 240,000 across three nights.

The achievement marks a historic first for both K-pop and international artists in Japan, further solidifying TWICE’s status as a global touring powerhouse.

Prior to the stadium shows, TWICE had already completed a dome tour across Japan’s four major venues, including Kyocera Dome Osaka, Vantelin Dome Nagoya, PayPay Dome Fukuoka, and Tokyo Dome. With the addition of the National Stadium concerts, total attendance for the “THIS IS FOR” Japan tour has reached an impressive 640,000.

The Tokyo performances featured a 360-degree stage setup, maximizing audience engagement throughout the massive venue. TWICE delivered a 36-song setlist, opening with “THIS IS FOR” and performing hits such as “Strategy,” “SET ME FREE,” and “I CAN’T STOP ME.”

The group also unveiled special stages, including the Japanese title track “ENEMY” and MISAMO’s “Confetti,” performed for the first time on tour. The concert concluded with “Like 1,” a collaboration between Jihyo and Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK.

Toward the end of the show, a surprise video commemorating TWICE’s 10th anniversary in Japan was screened, adding an emotional touch to the finale. Members shared heartfelt messages with fans, with Momo reflecting on a decade of shared dreams, Sana expressing gratitude for the milestone moment, and Dahyun describing the experience as deeply moving.

With record-breaking attendance and historic achievements, TWICE continues to redefine the scale of K-pop concerts on the global stage.
