Tablo’s Daughter Haru Becomes Sole Lyricist for RIIZE’s New Title Track

Lee Haru, the daughter of Epik High member Tablo, is drawing attention after being credited as the sole lyricist for a new song by rising K-pop boy group RIIZE.

According to industry sources on June 8, Haru is listed as the exclusive songwriter for “Do Your Dance,” the title track of RIIZE’s upcoming second mini-album “II,” scheduled for release on June 15.

From Co-Writer to Solo Lyricist

The credit marks a significant milestone for Haru, who previously participated in songwriting alongside her father.

She earlier contributed to KiiiKiii’s “To Me From Me” as a co-lyricist with Tablo, showcasing her creative potential at a young age. With her latest credit, Haru takes a major step forward by independently writing lyrics for a major K-pop release.

The achievement has sparked interest among fans and industry observers, many of whom see her as an emerging talent in the Korean music scene.

Talent Beyond Music

Haru’s artistic abilities have attracted attention beyond songwriting.

Recently, Tablo revealed that his daughter helped with the Korean translation of the Canadian comedy film Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie.” During an appearance on a variety program, he explained that the two divided the translation work between them and completed separate sections independently.

According to Tablo, Haru’s strong understanding of language and culture played an important role in the project, further highlighting her diverse creative skills.

Academic Excellence Draws Attention

In addition to her growing artistic résumé, Haru has also impressed fans with her academic achievements.

Earlier this year, Tablo shared that Haru, who was born in 2010 and is now of high-school age, has been preparing for the SAT as well as Advanced Placement (AP) examinations, both commonly associated with U.S. college admissions.

The update fueled discussion about Haru’s remarkable development, with many noting that she appears to have inherited both her father’s intellectual curiosity and creative instincts.

Growing Interest in Her Future

Tablo, a graduate of Stanford University, has long been recognized for his songwriting and lyrical abilities. As Haru continues to build experience in music, translation, and academics, public interest in her future career path continues to grow.

With a solo songwriting credit on a major RIIZE title track now to her name, Haru is increasingly establishing an identity of her own beyond being known simply as Tablo’s daughter.
