Sung Si Kyung Denies Dating Rumors With Actress Ayaka Miyoshi

Singer Sung Si Kyung has directly addressed the growing dating rumors surrounding Japanese actress and model Ayaka Miyoshi following their recent on-screen chemistry and magazine collaboration.

On May 20, Sung appeared on his official YouTube channel and openly spoke about the speculation that has been spreading online after the pair worked together on Netflix’s Crazy Delicious Season 5 and later participated in a viral couple photoshoot.

“Back then, I used to think about bringing Matsushige-san whenever I visited places like this,” Sung said during the video. “But these days, I sometimes think Ayaka Miyoshi would probably enjoy this kind of food.”

However, the singer quickly clarified that the comments were not romantic in nature.

“I’m not in love,” he firmly stated. “A lot of people keep commenting that we should just date, but Ayaka also has her own position and feelings to consider.”

Sung continued by emphasizing that while he admires Miyoshi, there is no romantic relationship between them.

“She’s incredibly beautiful, charming, and lovable, but there is absolutely nothing romantic between us,” he explained with a laugh. “Honestly, even having to explain this feels embarrassing. It almost feels like I’m getting ahead of myself.”

He also expressed concern that the overwhelming public attention might make things uncomfortable for Miyoshi if she comes across the comments online.

Ayaka Miyoshi, born in 1996, is one of Japan’s rising actresses and models who gained international recognition through Netflix’s hit survival thriller Alice in Borderland. She recently drew attention in Korea after appearing alongside Sung Si Kyung in Netflix’s Crazy Delicious Season 5.

The two also sparked buzz earlier this year after releasing a romantic-themed pictorial together, leading many fans to speculate about a possible off-screen relationship.

Despite the rumors, Sung Si Kyung’s latest comments appear to firmly draw the line between friendship and romance while highlighting the comfortable chemistry the two entertainers naturally share on screen.
