Members of NewJeans have been spotted overseas in what appears to be an organized filming schedule, drawing renewed attention as the group navigates ongoing contract-related developments with their agency.

According to reports on April 3, Hanni joined Haerin and Hyein in Copenhagen, Denmark. The update follows earlier social media posts that captured Haerin and Hyein at a local store, holding what appeared to be filming equipment.

Overseas filming schedule confirmed by agency

Images circulating online showed the members accompanied by staff, suggesting a structured production schedule rather than a personal trip. The setting and equipment seen in the photos pointed to ongoing filming, though the nature of the content has not been disclosed.

While initial sightings focused on Haerin and Hyein, subsequent reporting confirmed Hanni’s presence, indicating that multiple members participated in the overseas schedule.

In response, ADOR confirmed that NewJeans members had traveled to Copenhagen with staff. The agency did not provide additional details regarding the purpose of the visit.

The confirmation has prompted speculation that the group may be preparing for new activities, particularly as no official comeback plans have yet been announced.

Contract dispute background shapes group’s next steps

The Copenhagen schedule comes against the backdrop of a prolonged dispute between ADOR and NewJeans members over the validity of their exclusive contracts. The disagreement escalated last year, with both sides presenting conflicting claims regarding contract termination.

In October, a court ruling sided with ADOR, affirming the agency’s position. Following the decision, Haerin, Hyein, and Hanni returned to the company in sequence, resuming coordination under the agency.

However, the situation remains unresolved for other members. Minji is still in discussions regarding her status, with no final decision announced.

Meanwhile, ADOR has filed a damages lawsuit against Danielle and her family, arguing that they bear responsibility for initiating the dispute. The legal action underscores the ongoing tensions surrounding the group’s contractual framework.

The broader conflict also involves former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin, whose departure and subsequent disagreements have been closely linked to the dispute’s progression.

Attention grows over potential group activities

With multiple members now confirmed to have returned to ADOR and participating in overseas schedules, attention is shifting toward the group’s future activities. The Copenhagen filming has become a focal point, as it may signal early-stage preparations for new content or promotions.

Despite growing speculation, no official announcements have been made regarding a comeback or release timeline. The agency has maintained a limited response, confirming only the travel while withholding further details.

As developments continue, the group’s next moves are expected to carry significant industry interest, particularly given NewJeans’ global reach and the complexity of the ongoing legal and contractual situation.
