Rookie group NCT WISH successfully wrapped their first standalone concert encore at the KSPO Dome, marking a major milestone just two years after debut.
The group held their “INTO THE WISH: Our WISH” encore concerts from April 17 to 19 in Seoul, drawing a total of approximately 33,000 attendees across three days. The performances also doubled as a preview stage for their upcoming first full-length album, Ode to Love, set for release on April 20.
Rapid growth reflected in sold-out arena shows
Speaking ahead of the final show, member Jaehee expressed disbelief at the group’s rapid rise. “It feels surreal to perform at KSPO Dome after only two years. I’m happier than words can describe,” he said.
The group emphasized how their first tour, which spanned over 30 shows, contributed to both individual and team development. Leader Sion noted that the experience strengthened their teamwork and made performing more enjoyable over time.
Riku also highlighted the difference from earlier performances, saying that while the group initially struggled with nerves, they have since become more comfortable engaging directly with fans, known as NCTzens.
Their ability to command a large venue without backup dancers further underscored their growth as performers. Over nearly three hours, the six members maintained high energy, delivering a setlist that balanced established tracks with new material.

New album stages unveiled for the first time
A key highlight of the concert was the first live performance of songs from Ode to Love, including the title track and B-side “Sticky.” The title track incorporates elements from Ode to My Family by The Cranberries, adding a nostalgic layer familiar to Korean audiences.
Sion admitted feeling nervous about unveiling the new songs on the first night but said the positive reaction from fans provided reassurance. “We hope this title track becomes one of our signature songs,” he added.
The album continues NCT WISH’s signature bright sound while expanding into more reflective themes. Member Ryo described it as conveying warmth and kindness in a “cold world,” while Jaehee emphasized the care put into each track, calling it a meaningful project for the group.
Expanding ambitions beyond Korea
The concert featured a diverse setlist including debut track “WISH,” fan favorites like “poppop” and “COLOR,” as well as Japanese releases such as “Wishful Winter” and “NASA.” Special stages—including a piano performance by Jaehee and creative choreography utilizing props—added variety to the production.
Notable attendees included actress Shim Eun-kyung and Sung Han-bin, reflecting growing industry attention toward the group.
Looking ahead, NCT WISH shared ambitions to expand further into the Japanese market. Member Sakuya stated that performing at a dome venue in Japan is a key goal for their next tour.
As the encore concerts concluded, the members expressed gratitude toward fans and staff, crediting their support for the group’s rapid progress. With their first full album release imminent, NCT WISH appears poised to build on this momentum and solidify their presence in the next phase of their career.
