Global girl group KATSEYE is set to return this summer with a new release, building on its growing international momentum.
According to HYBE Geffen Records on April 16, KATSEYE will release its third EP WILD on August 14. The upcoming project arrives approximately one year and two months after its previous EP BEAUTIFUL CHAOS, signaling the group’s next phase of global promotions.
Streaming growth and chart success underline momentum
KATSEYE has continued to gain traction across major platforms. Based on recent data (March 17 to April 13), the group surpassed 30.85 million monthly listeners on Spotify—the highest figure among girl groups worldwide during that period.
Their latest track “PINKY UP” has also shown rapid growth. Within four days of release, the song recorded 18.1 million combined streams across platforms, surpassing the group’s previous releases such as “Gabriela” and “Internet Girl.”
The track entered the upper ranks of major charts, including No. 13 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart and No. 10 on the U.S. chart, reflecting strong international reception.
Billboard presence and awards recognition expand reach
KATSEYE has steadily built a presence on U.S. charts. Tracks including “Gabriela,” “Internet Girl,” and “Gnarly” have all entered the Billboard Hot 100, demonstrating the group’s crossover appeal.
Their second EP BEAUTIFUL CHAOS achieved a particularly notable milestone, remaining on the Billboard 200 for 41 consecutive weeks—an uncommon feat that highlights sustained listener interest.
The group’s rising profile has also been reflected in awards recognition. KATSEYE was nominated in three categories at the American Music Awards, positioning the act among leading names in the global music industry.

Coachella performance and global strategy
KATSEYE recently drew attention with a performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, where the group showcased its stage presence to an international audience.
The group’s trajectory has been closely linked to a hybrid production model combining K-pop training systems with global market strategies. Often described as a “multi-home, multi-genre” approach, this framework has enabled KATSEYE to operate across regions and musical styles.
With the upcoming release of WILD, attention is focused on how the group will build on its current momentum. As streaming figures, chart performance, and global exposure continue to align, KATSEYE is positioning itself as a key player in the evolving landscape of international pop music.
