EXO Celebrates 14th Anniversary with Heartfelt Message
EXO marked their 14th debut anniversary on April 8, expressing gratitude to fans and reflecting on their journey over the past decade.
Through SM Entertainment, the group shared, “We can’t believe it has already been 14 years. We feel deep gratitude toward EXO-L for consistently supporting and loving us.”
They added, “Looking back, there have been so many moments, and what means the most is that we walked through that time together with EXO-L. The atmosphere on stage and the eyes of our fans are memories we will never forget.”
Members Share Personal Reflections
Member Oh Se-hun expressed appreciation for both his group and fans, saying, “I’m thankful to have been with the members for 14 years. To our fans who have trusted and supported us until the end, thank you so much. Let’s go as far as we can together.”
Park Chan-yeol recalled his earliest memory, noting, “The first thing that comes to mind is our ‘History’ stage at the debut showcase.”
Meanwhile, leader Kim Jun-myeon described the group’s upcoming concert as a nostalgic yet refreshed experience. “While there will be new songs and performances, the word ‘nostalgia’ fits best. We’ve reinterpreted our past songs with a 2026 perspective.”
Kim Jong-in also emphasized the emotional significance of reconnecting with fans. “Being able to share the same space with fans again feels special. If I had to describe this concert in one word, it would be ‘reunion.’”
Legacy of Hit Songs and Continued Success
Since debuting in 2012, EXO has achieved massive success with hit tracks such as “Wolf,” “Growl,” “Overdose,” and “Love Me Right,” establishing themselves as one of K-pop’s most influential groups.
Earlier this year, the group released their eighth full-length album REVERXE, which became their eighth million-selling album and topped various music programs, reaffirming their lasting popularity.

Upcoming Concert Signals Major Return
EXO is set to kick off their sixth solo concert tour, “EXO PLANET #6 – EXhOrizon,” from April 10 to 12 at KSPO Dome in Seoul. The upcoming shows mark the group’s first new concert in approximately six years and four months.
Members hinted that the performances will combine new material with reimagined versions of past hits, creating a meaningful experience for longtime fans.
Industry Context: Longevity in K-pop
Reaching a 14th anniversary is a significant milestone in the K-pop industry, where group lifespans are often relatively short. EXO’s continued success highlights their strong fanbase and ability to evolve musically over time.
Industry analysts note that legacy groups like EXO play a key role in sustaining the global popularity of K-pop, bridging generations of fans.
Future Outlook
As EXO enters its 15th year, the group’s focus on both nostalgia and innovation signals a continued commitment to their artistry and fans.
With their upcoming concerts and ongoing activities, EXO is poised to maintain its position as one of K-pop’s leading acts.
