Former Wanna One member Ha Sung Woon is touching fans worldwide as Ha Sung Woon Lai Kuanlin reunion moments highlight the group’s enduring bond years after disbandment.
On May 5, Ha Sung Woon took to social media to share a heartfelt message, writing, “Our Kuanlin has always supported, watched over, and loved Wanna One more than anyone. Thank you so much.” His post came shortly after the broadcast of a variety program that captured their long-awaited reunion.
In episode 2 of Wanna One Go: Back to Base, Ha Sung Woon traveled to Beijing to reunite with fellow member Lai Kuanlin for the first time in seven years.
During the episode, Lai Kuanlin shared updates about his current life, revealing that he is now working at a film production company in China and producing short films. Despite being away from Korea, he demonstrated fluent Korean and shared, “There’s no one to ask, but when I crave Korean food, I cook it myself,” adding with a smile that his lingering attachment to Korea plays a role.
One of the most emotional moments came when Lai Kuanlin showed a tattoo on his arm marking Wanna One’s debut date, August 7. “If you ask me about a meaningful date, I would say August 7,” he said, visibly moving Ha Sung Woon.
While expressing his deep longing for the members, Lai Kuanlin also candidly shared his thoughts about returning to the spotlight. “I really want to be together again, but appearing on TV again feels burdensome,” he admitted, revealing the complexity of his feelings.
