Rising global girl group CrazAngel is building anticipation for its upcoming release, unveiling new details about its first mini album “Picasso.”
The four-member group—Solmi, Days, Shani, and Aun—shared the album’s tracklist image and fourth concept photo via official SNS channels on May 1 and 2, offering a deeper look into their musical direction.
According to the tracklist, the album includes four songs: the title track “Picasso,” its English version, “Land of Dreams,” and another track that highlights the group’s evolving identity and artistic range. Notably, all members participated in writing the lyrics for the title track, adding personal narratives and authenticity to the project.
Emphasizing its global identity, CrazAngel incorporates multiple languages into its music, including English and Chinese. The English version of “Picasso” is not just a direct translation, but a reinterpreted version designed to capture the nuance and emotion of English lyrics, according to the group’s agency.
The newly released concept photo for “Land of Dreams” presents a fresh visual tone distinct from the group’s earlier “Rose Period,” “Blue Period,” and “Art of Work” series. This shift in color palette and mood hints at a broader musical spectrum and conceptual depth that the group aims to showcase through the album.
“Picasso” continues the narrative first introduced in their debut single “I’m Just Me,” drawing inspiration from Pablo Picasso and his spirit of breaking conventions. The album reflects the group’s ambition to challenge norms and present a unique artistic perspective.
