Rising K-pop girl group BABYMONSTER is set to connect with fans worldwide through a special live broadcast on the day of their highly anticipated comeback.
According to YG Entertainment, the group will host a “comeback special live” on May 4 at 8 p.m. KST to celebrate the release of their third mini album CHOOM. The broadcast will be streamed simultaneously via YouTube, Weverse, and TikTok, ensuring global accessibility for fans.
The live event will be hosted by entertainer Yoo Jae-pil and will center around a dance-focused concept that aligns with the album’s theme. BABYMONSTER members are expected to showcase the point choreography of the title track “CHOOM,” emphasizing the album’s message of unity through dance.
Interactive segments will also be included, allowing fans—known as “Monstiez”—to engage with the group in real time. Planned content includes an album unboxing, behind-the-scenes stories from the production process, and previews of upcoming promotional activities.
The mini album CHOOM will be released earlier that day at 6 p.m. KST. It features four tracks: the hip-hop-based title song “CHOOM,” the dreamy and atmospheric “MOON,” the upbeat dance track “I Like It,” and the R&B pop number “Locked In.”
Following their comeback, BABYMONSTER is set to kick off their second world tour in June, beginning with a sold-out concert in Seoul. The tour will expand across Japan, Asia, Oceania, Europe, North America, and South America, signaling the group’s rapidly growing global presence.
With a strong emphasis on performance and fan interaction, BABYMONSTER’s comeback live is expected to further solidify their rising status in the global K-pop scene.
