ITZY member Chaeryeong is reportedly preparing to make her official solo debut in November, becoming the third member of the group to launch a solo career.
According to a Korean media JTBC report published Thursday, Aug. 27, Chaeryeong has finalized plans to release a solo project in November and is currently preparing to film a music video.
The reported debut would follow solo releases from fellow ITZY members Yeji and Yuna, marking another step in the group’s expansion into individual activities.
Chaeryeong Prepares for First Official Solo Release
Chaeryeong’s upcoming project would arrive more than seven years after she debuted as a member of ITZY and roughly 13 years after she first appeared on SBS audition program K-pop Star 3 and later joined JYP Entertainment as a trainee.
While the exact release date, album title and tracklist have not yet been disclosed, the report that a music video is already being prepared suggests that production is moving forward ahead of the planned November launch.
