Lee Seung Gi has reportedly notified his agency of his intention to terminate his exclusive contract, sparking renewed attention across the entertainment industry.

According to his legal representative, attorney Yoon Yong-seok, the star sent a formal notice late last month, citing alleged violations of contract terms by Big Planet Made Entertainment.

The key issue centers around financial disputes. Lee Seung Gi’s side claims that settlement payments have not been made since September of last year. They also raised concerns over irregularities in activity support and external expense payments.

Another major point of contention is transparency. His legal team stated that requests to review basic financial documents were denied without valid justification, further escalating the situation.

Big Planet Made Entertainment, a label under One Hundred, has recently faced a series of similar challenges. Reports suggest that multiple artists—including members of THE BOYZ, VIVIZ, as well as soloists Lee Mujin and BE’O—have also moved to terminate their contracts.

Meanwhile, Taemin has already left the agency, adding to the growing list of departures.

In response, the agency stated that it is working toward stabilizing management operations and is continuing discussions to resolve the matter amicably.

Lee Seung Gi originally signed with the company in 2024, making this dispute a relatively recent development in his career.

As the situation unfolds, industry watchers and fans alike are closely monitoring what could become another major contract dispute in K-entertainment.
