Taeyang to Release ‘QUINTESSENCE’ on May 18

Taeyang of BIGBANG is set to return as a solo artist with a new full-length album, marking a major milestone in his career. On April 20, The Black Label announced that Taeyang will release his fourth studio album, “QUINTESSENCE,” on May 18 at 6 p.m. KST.

The announcement was accompanied by the unveiling of the album’s cover image through official social media channels, signaling the start of his comeback rollout.

First full-length album in nine years

“QUINTESSENCE” marks Taeyang’s first studio album since “WHITE NIGHT,” released in August 2017, making it his first full-length project in approximately nine years. It also follows his second EP “Down to Earth,” which was released in April 2023.
