Evan, formerly known as Heeseung of ENHYPEN, is officially preparing for his solo debut with a new song targeted for release in June.
On May 11, agency BELIFT LAB told CBS NoCut News that “He is preparing to release a new song with the goal of unveiling it in June,” while adding that further details will be announced at a later date.
Heeseung debuted with ENHYPEN in 2020 but announced his departure from the group in March this year to pursue solo activities under BELIFT LAB. Last month, he also revealed his new stage name, “Evan.”
Explaining the meaning behind the name, Evan shared that it was a nickname he had used since childhood and one filled with precious memories. He added that he wanted to reintroduce the name as part of a fresh new beginning.
“I want to get closer to fans step by step through music that honestly and naturally reflects who I am,” Evan said in a previous statement.

Beyond his performance skills, Evan has also built a reputation as a songwriter and producer. During his time with ENHYPEN, he participated in writing and composing tracks including Highway 1009 and Sleep Tight, earning credits for his musical contributions.
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN has reorganized into a six-member group consisting of Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki. The group kicked off its fourth world tour, BLOOD SAGA, on May 1.
