CORTIS “GREENGREEN” Nears Double Million Preorders

CORTIS is on track to achieve a double million-seller with its upcoming mini album “GREENGREEN,” marking a major milestone for the rising group.

According to album distributors YG Plus and Universal Records on May 2, GREENGREEN recorded 2,397,188 preorders as of April 30, putting it within reach of the double million mark even before its official release.

Rapid growth signals breakout success

The album’s preorder trajectory has been particularly striking. Within just seven days of pre-sales opening on March 27, it surpassed 1.22 million copies. By day 18, the figure exceeded 2.02 million.

Momentum continued following the release of the pre-release title track “REDRED,” which added more than 347,000 additional orders in the ten days after its April 20 drop.

Global streaming buzz builds

Anticipation for the album is also evident on Spotify, where GREENGREEN recorded approximately 999,000 pre-saves as of May 2—an indicator of strong global interest ahead of release.

CORTIS has already gained traction with REDRED, which entered both Spotify’s global weekly and daily charts—making them the first boy group debuting within the past five years to achieve the feat.

The track ranked No.103 on the Weekly Top Songs Global chart (April 24–30) and climbed sharply to No.1 on Spotify Korea’s weekly chart, jumping 54 places week-on-week. It also held a position on the Daily Top Songs Global chart for nine consecutive days, peaking at No.95.

First music show win and creative identity

The group recently secured its first music show win with REDRED on M Countdown, further solidifying its rising status in the industry.

Set for release on May 4, GREENGREEN explores the group’s artistic identity through contrasting themes—“green,” representing what they pursue, and “red,” symbolizing what they reject. The concept originated from member James, with all members contributing to songwriting and composition, adding a layer of authenticity to the project.

CORTIS will celebrate the release with a special launch event at 8 PM on the same day, performing all six tracks from the album live.

With strong sales, global streaming traction, and creative involvement from its members, CORTIS is positioning itself as one of the most promising new acts in K-pop.
