BLACKPINK has received another prestigious honor as South Korea’s postal service officially unveiled a special commemorative stamp collection celebrating the group’s global achievements.

On June 15, the Korea Post Service under the Ministry of Science and ICT announced the release of the BLACKPINK commemorative stamps, recognizing the quartet’s extraordinary contribution to K-pop and Korean culture on the international stage.

10 Special Stamp Designs Released

According to Korea Post, the commemorative collection consists of 10 unique stamp designs.

In addition to the stamps themselves, a special commemorative stamp packet will also be released. The package includes the stamp collection along with exclusive portrait images of the BLACKPINK members.

The official unveiling ceremony was held at the Seoul Central Post Office, drawing attention from both fans and collectors eager to celebrate the group’s accomplishments.

Recognizing BLACKPINK’s Global Impact

Since their debut in August 2016, BLACKPINK has become one of the most influential K-pop acts in history.

The group has delivered numerous global hits, including:

  • “DDU-DU DDU-DU”
  • “Kill This Love”
  • “How You Like That”

These releases helped BLACKPINK dominate music charts around the world and establish a massive international fanbase.

A Historic K-pop Legacy

The commemorative stamp release highlights several of BLACKPINK’s historic achievements.

The group became the first Asian artist to headline the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and the first K-pop act to headline London’s Hyde Park British Summer Time Festival, milestones widely viewed as landmark moments for Korean music on the global stage.

Beyond music, BLACKPINK has also represented South Korea internationally through its role as United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) advocates, participating in global campaigns and delivering speeches promoting positive social change.

Available Nationwide Beginning June 16

The BLACKPINK commemorative stamps will officially go on sale beginning June 16.

Fans and collectors will be able to purchase the collection through major post offices across South Korea as well as the country’s online postal shopping platform.

Park In-hwan, head of Korea Post, emphasized the significance of the project.

“We are honored to issue commemorative stamps celebrating BLACKPINK, a group that has helped introduce K-pop to audiences around the world,” he said.

He added that Korea Post plans to continue producing commemorative stamps that highlight individuals, events, and achievements of national significance.
