Stray Kids’ Felix has released his self-written track “Slow It Down,” with actress Roh Yoon-seo joining him in the song’s music video.

Released on Sept. 1 through Stray Kids’ SKZ-PLAYER project, the digital single shows a softer and more reflective side of Felix. He participated in both writing and composing the track.

“Slow It Down” blends acoustic guitar with a hip-hop beat, pairing Felix’s distinctive voice with a warm message about stepping away from the rush of everyday life.

The lyrics encourage listeners to slow down, look back on precious moments and reconnect with the dreams and people that matter to them.

Felix Shows a Softer Side With ‘Slow It Down’

Felix’s involvement in both the lyrics and composition gives the song a particularly personal touch.

Rather than leaning into the intense sound often associated with Stray Kids, “Slow It Down” uses an acoustic hip-hop arrangement to create a gentler atmosphere.

The song is part of SKZ-PLAYER, Stray Kids’ ongoing project that gives the members an opportunity to showcase individual creative work beyond the group’s official album releases.

Members take an active role in areas including songwriting, production and visual planning.

Felix follows fellow member Han, who kicked off the latest series of individual releases with “back to life” in June.

The project is expected to continue as the eight members unveil their own creative works in sequence.

Roh Yoon-seo Stars in the Music Video

The accompanying music video adds another point of interest through the appearance of actress Roh Yoon-seo.

Roh plays a character named Yoon-seo, a young woman who takes care of her younger sibling while pursuing her dream of becoming a chef.

Felix appears alongside her as a quietly supportive presence, offering encouragement through objects including a bicycle, cake and cookbook as she moves forward with her dream.

The storyline complements the song’s central message of taking a moment to recognize the people, memories and aspirations that can become overlooked in a busy life.

Roh has built a growing profile through projects including Our Blues, Crash Course in Romance, 20th Century Girl and Hear Me: Our Summer.

Her appearance also gives “Slow It Down” a natural crossover between K-pop and K-drama audiences.

Stray Kids Continue Busy Global Run

Felix’s solo release comes during another active period for Stray Kids.

The group released its mini album “THIS & THAT” on Aug. 7 and continues to maintain a packed international schedule, including its “Run It” world tour and major global festival appearances.

The group is also scheduled to appear at events including Rock in Rio, continuing the international momentum that has made Stray Kids one of K-pop’s most prominent touring acts.

For “Slow It Down,” however, Felix turns away from spectacle and toward a quieter message.

Through a self-written song built around reflection and encouragement, he asks listeners to do exactly what the title suggests — slow down for a moment and remember what matters.
