BTS to Light Up Busan’s Gwangandaegyo With Massive Drone Show for ‘ARIRANG’ Tour

Global K‑pop phenomenon BTS will transform Busan into a citywide festival next month with a massive drone light show and large‑scale fan events tied to the group’s upcoming world tour concerts.

According to BigHit Music on May 18, BTS will launch “BTS THE CITY ARIRANG – Busan,” a special offline fan experience program connected to the group’s BTS World Tour ARIRANG concerts scheduled for June 12 and 13 in Busan.

The “THE CITY” project extends the concert atmosphere beyond the venue, turning the entire host city into an immersive BTS‑themed experience. The event series previously transformed Busan in 2022 during BTS’s concert supporting the city’s bid for the 2030 World Expo.

One of the biggest highlights this year will be a large-scale drone light show over Busan’s iconic Gwangandaegyo Bridge. The show is scheduled to take place during the two concert days, creating a synchronized visual celebration for both concertgoers and local fans.

The events also coincide with BTS’s debut anniversary on June 13, adding emotional significance to the festivities for ARMY around the world.

In addition to the drone performance, multiple BTS-themed attractions will appear across Busan from June 5 through June 21. Major landmarks including Busan Eurasia Platform and Gwangbok-ro Media Facade will host immersive media art wall installations inspired by BTS and the ARIRANG tour concept.

Fans will also be able to visit “ARMY Madang,” a dedicated fan zone opening at The Bay 101 Gallery Hall from June 10 to 14. The space will feature interactive exhibitions, fan activities, and commemorative experiences that celebrate BTS’s journey and global fandom.

BigHit Music is preparing additional tourism-linked programs, including Busan city tours and yacht experiences, to reinforce the citywide festival atmosphere surrounding the concerts.

BTS remains one of the world’s most influential music acts, consistently drawing massive global audiences through both live performances and cultural events. The upcoming ARIRANG tour marks another major chapter for the group as anticipation surrounding their large-scale activities continues to intensify worldwide.
