BABYMONSTER is officially launching full-scale comeback promotions as the BABYMONSTER CHOOM music show performance highly anticipated by fans finally arrives this weekend.

According to YG Entertainment on May 9, the group will appear on Show! Music Core to perform the title track “CHOOM” from their third mini album for the first time on television.

Viral Performance Fuels Massive Anticipation

Even before officially beginning music show promotions, BABYMONSTER has already generated explosive momentum through YG’s pre-release content and online performances.

The “CHOOM” music video quickly entered YouTube’s “Most Viewed Videos in 24 Hours” ranking and has now surpassed 52 million views. Meanwhile, the performance video has also crossed 22 million views, reflecting strong global interest in the group’s choreography-focused comeback.

Fans say the song’s intense performance style has become the main driver behind the track’s rapid popularity growth.

Signature Choreography Goes Viral

Matching the energy of its title, “CHOOM” highlights BABYMONSTER’s powerful dance identity through aggressive movements and dynamic formations.

Particular attention has been placed on the chorus choreography, including the synchronized arm-and-leg movements during the “Let’s choom” section and the hand-flipping gesture paired with the whispered “Watch out” line.

The choreography has already sparked a major dance challenge trend across platforms such as TikTok, with more than 110,000 related videos reportedly uploaded online.

Live Stages Expected to Showcase Full Performance Power

Because the upcoming stages are live music show performances, fans are especially excited to see BABYMONSTER’s stable vocals, charismatic stage gestures, and energetic crowd interaction combined in real time.

The group is also scheduled to appear on Inkigayo on May 10, continuing promotions throughout the weekend and further strengthening their comeback momentum.

Global Charts and World Tour Momentum Continue

BABYMONSTER recently returned with mini album “[CHOOM]” on May 4 and immediately topped iTunes album charts in 19 regions worldwide, while also reaching No. 1 on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart.

Following comeback promotions, the group will launch its second world tour spanning five continents, including Asia, Oceania, Europe, North America, and South America.

The tour is set to begin with a three-day concert in Seoul from June 26 to 28 before continuing to six Japanese cities including Kobe, Fukuoka, Yokohama, Chiba, Nagoya, and Osaka.

As BABYMONSTER continues proving its rapidly expanding global influence, many fans are now watching closely to see how far “CHOOM” can push the group’s momentum during this comeback era.
