2PM’s Taecyeon Marries Longtime Partner in Seoul Ceremony

Ok Taecyeon has married his longtime partner in a private ceremony held in Seoul, marking a new personal milestone for the singer and actor.

The wedding took place on April 24 at an undisclosed location, with close acquaintances and family members in attendance. Fellow members of 2PM were present, adding significance to the occasion as the group reunited to celebrate the event together.

Announcement followed earlier confirmation

Taecyeon had previously confirmed his marriage plans in November last year through a handwritten letter. At the time, he shared that he had decided to spend his life with a partner who had supported and understood him for many years.

“I have promised to spend my life with someone who has trusted and supported me for a long time,” he wrote, adding that they would move forward together as a source of strength for each other.

The relationship also drew attention in December during the KBS Drama Awards, where Taecyeon, after winning the Excellence Award in the miniseries category for The First Night With the Duke, concluded his speech with the words “I love you, Jihye,” prompting speculation about his partner.

Taecyeon remains active as both a singer and actor, balancing group activities with individual projects. Meanwhile, 2PM is preparing for upcoming performances in Japan, with concerts scheduled at Tokyo Dome on May 9 and 10 to mark the group’s 15th anniversary of its Japanese debut.
