TXT is turning heads once again — and this time, the mood is darker than ever.
The group recently unveiled a trailer titled “A Thorn: Untold Stories” for their upcoming eighth EP, “7th Year: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns.” The clip quickly caught fans’ attention with its striking dystopian atmosphere.
Set in a tense, almost cinematic world, the trailer captures the five members in a quiet moment before what feels like an approaching storm. The calm yet uneasy tone hints at a deeper narrative behind the upcoming release.
According to their agency, the project aims to explore more introspective themes, offering a new perspective on the group’s evolving artistry. The darker concept marks a noticeable shift from some of their previous releases.

The EP is scheduled to drop on April 13, but anticipation has already been building. TXT surprised fans by unveiling all six tracks during a listening party held in Seoul on March 31, creating early buzz around the album.
Members Taehyun and Huening Kai also made an unexpected appearance at the event, further exciting attendees and adding to the comeback hype.
A music industry insider commented, “TXT has consistently expanded their sound and storytelling. This upcoming release could highlight a more mature and conceptual side of the group.”
The comeback follows TXT’s recent fan concert series in Seoul, which wrapped up on March 1. The group is also set to continue connecting with fans through upcoming events in Japan, with multiple shows scheduled between late May and June.
As TXT approaches their seventh year, expectations are higher than ever. With a visually compelling trailer and a strong global fanbase behind them, this comeback is shaping up to be another defining moment.
