ALLDAY PROJECT’s Annie Graduates From Columbia University While Continuing Idol Career
ALLDAY PROJECT member Annie has officially graduated from Columbia University, marking a major academic milestone alongside her growing career in the K-pop industry.
According to THEBLACKLABEL on May 21, Annie — whose real name is Moon Seoyoon — attended Columbia University’s graduation ceremony in New York on May 19 (local time).
During the ceremony livestream, Annie appeared wearing a sky-blue graduation gown and cap as she walked across the stage. She also showed affection for fans by smiling at the camera and saying, “Day One, I love you,” referencing the group’s fandom name.
Prior to the ceremony, Annie shared social media challenge videos filmed in her Columbia graduation attire, drawing attention from fans impressed by her balance between academics and entertainment activities.
The idol is known to have majored in Art History and Visual Arts while studying at the prestigious Ivy League university. Throughout her college years, she occasionally shared glimpses of her study routines and campus life through fan communication platforms.
Audiences recognize Annie as the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group honorary chairwoman Lee Myung‑hee and the eldest daughter of Shinsegae president Chung Yoo‑kyung, drawing public attention even before her entertainment debut.

She officially debuted last June as a member of the co-ed group ALLDAY PROJECT under THEBLACKLABEL. To focus on idol promotions, Annie temporarily paused her studies, later returning to complete her remaining academic requirements during the group’s recent hiatus period.
Fans celebrate her graduation as a rare example of an idol successfully balancing a demanding entertainment schedule with higher education at one of the world’s top universities.
As ALLDAY PROJECT continues building its identity in the competitive K-pop market, Annie’s academic achievement further adds to the group’s growing public recognition and unique image.
