Stray Kids Top Global Charts With New Album ‘THIS & THAT’

Stray Kids are continuing their global dominance with their latest mini album, “THIS & THAT,” topping album charts across multiple countries and adding another milestone to the K-pop group’s growing list of records.

Released on August 7, the mini album by Stray Kids — Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.N — reached No. 1 on several major international album charts.

The album topped the French Syndicat National de l’Édition Phonographique (SNEP) Top Albums chart, Austria’s Ö3 Top 40 Longplay chart and Italy’s FIMI Top 100 Albums chart for the week of August 7-13.

It also claimed the top spot on the Dutch Album Top 100, Belgium’s Ultratop Albums chart and Switzerland’s Hitparade Album Top 100. In Japan, “THIS & THAT” topped both the Oricon weekly album ranking and weekly combined album ranking.

Stray Kids Extend Billboard 200 Record

The group’s latest release has also strengthened its position in the U.S. market.

“THIS & THAT” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, giving Stray Kids their ninth consecutive album to debut at No. 1 on the main U.S. album chart.

The achievement places Stray Kids among the most successful groups in Billboard 200 history. They are now recognized as the 21st-century group with the most No. 1 albums on the chart, behind only The Beatles in the overall group record.

The album also recorded 3,289,269 copies in first-week sales, according to Hanteo Chart, making “THIS & THAT” Stray Kids’ fourth album to surpass the three-million mark in initial sales.

The album’s success further demonstrates the group’s strong physical album sales and international fanbase, while reinforcing their position as one of K-pop’s leading global acts.

World Tour and Major Festival Appearances

Stray Kids are also continuing their international activities following the release.

On August 29 and 30, the group will perform at Tokyo’s National Stadium as part of their ongoing world tour. Their appearance will make them the first overseas male artist to perform at the venue, adding another milestone to their growing list of international achievements.

In September, Stray Kids are scheduled to perform at Rock in Rio, one of Brazil’s largest music festivals.

With “THIS & THAT” dominating album charts across Europe, Asia and the United States, Stray Kids are showing that their global momentum remains stronger than ever.
