Stray Kids’ Han Debuts Solo OST “Updraft” for Typhoon Family

JYP Entertainment

Han of Stray Kids is stepping into the spotlight with his first solo contribution to a drama soundtrack, lending his voice to the upcoming episode of CJ ENM’s hit series Typhoon Family.
The track, titled “Sangseung Giryu” — which translates to “Updraft” — is an alternative rock number that will be released Sunday, just ahead of the drama’s latest broadcast. The song marks Han’s first solo OST, following his previous collaboration “Genie” for Genie, Make a Wish, performed alongside fellow Stray Kids members I.N and Felix.
Known for his lyrical depth and emotive delivery, Han continues to expand his musical footprint beyond group activities. As a member of Stray Kids’ in-house production unit 3Racha, he played a central role in crafting the band’s upcoming album Do It, set to drop in November. The release comes just three months after Karma, the group’s fourth full-length album and seventh to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Han co-wrote all five tracks on Do It, including the dual lead singles “Do It” and “Sinseon Noreum,” further cementing his reputation as one of K-pop’s most prolific idol songwriters.
With his solo OST debut and another chart-topping comeback on the horizon, Han continues to showcase his versatility as both a performer and a creative force within Stray Kids. (worldpopkorea@gmail.com)
