Jang Wonyoung of IVE has secured the No. 1 position in the April 2026 girl group member brand reputation rankings, reaffirming her dominance in both popularity and consumer influence.

According to the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute on April 19, Jang ranked first based on big data analysis collected between March 19 and April 19. The ranking reflects a composite index measuring participation, media exposure, communication, and community engagement.

Trailing behind her were Jennie of BLACKPINK at No. 2 and Karina of aespa at No. 3, highlighting continued competition among top-tier K-pop female idols.

Rankings reflect sustained influence across top groups

The April list featured a strong presence from leading girl groups, with multiple members from BLACKPINK, IVE, and aespa appearing in the top tier. Notably, BLACKPINK members Rosé, Lisa, and Jisoo also ranked within the top six, while IVE’s An Yujin and aespa’s Winter maintained high positions.

The broader Top 30 included a mix of established and rising artists, such as NATTY of KISS OF LIFE, WONHEE of ILLIT, and Sullyoon of NMIXX, indicating a generational blend shaping the current K-pop landscape.

Industry analysts note that brand reputation rankings have become a key indicator of an idol’s commercial value, as they capture real-time consumer sentiment and media traction. The steady rise in data volume used for analysis also reflects increasing public engagement with K-pop content across platforms.

Ongoing tour boosts visibility

Jang Wonyoung’s top ranking comes amid IVE’s active global schedule. The group is currently holding concerts in Japan as part of their second world tour, performing at Kyocera Dome Osaka on April 18 and 19.

The momentum is expected to continue, with IVE set to return to Tokyo Dome on June 24. The group previously entered the venue during their first world tour encore in 2024, drawing approximately 95,000 attendees across two sold-out shows.

Jang’s consistent visibility through concerts, endorsements, and media appearances has played a significant role in maintaining her top position. As one of the most recognizable faces of fourth-generation K-pop, she continues to influence both domestic and international markets.

With strong competition from peers like Jennie and Karina, the brand reputation landscape remains highly dynamic. However, Jang Wonyoung’s latest No. 1 ranking underscores her continued impact as a leading figure in the current K-pop scene.
