Agency confirms mutual agreement
In its official statement, AT AREA said, “After thorough discussions with HyunA about her future activities, we have agreed to conclude our exclusive contract.” The company added that it appreciated her dedication as an artist who consistently delivered distinctive performances.
HyunA joined AT AREA in November 2023 and released the EP Attitude along with the digital single Mrs. Nail, showcasing a shift in both image and musical direction. Despite these efforts, the partnership concluded after approximately two years and five months.

Career shifts and personal spotlight
HyunA’s departure continues a pattern of transitions throughout her career. She previously signed with P Nation, founded by PSY, in 2019 before leaving in 2022 and later joining AT AREA.
In her personal life, she married Yong Junhyung in 2024, a former member of Highlight known for his role as a rapper and producer who later left the group amid the Burning Sun scandal before resuming solo activities.
AT AREA concluded by stating it would continue to support HyunA’s future, asking fans to maintain their interest and encouragement. While her next move has not yet been announced, the latest development signals another new chapter for the artist as she navigates her evolving career in the K-pop industry.
