BigBang is not disbanded—but its members are clearly entering a new phase. And right now, the spotlight is on T.O.P and his bold solo return with Another Dimension.
Released on April 3, the T.O.P Another Dimension album marks his first full-length solo project in over a decade. Featuring 11 tracks, including title songs “Studio54” and “Desperado,” the album showcases a major artistic shift for the artist.
What makes this release stand out is its creative depth. T.O.P collaborated with Grammy-winning engineer IRKO, cinematographer Kim Ji-yong, known for Decision to Leave, and art director Chae Kyung-sun of Squid Game. The album also uses Dolby Atmos immersive mixing, signaling a strong focus on sound design and storytelling.
T.O.P described the album as more than just music, emphasizing that it carries an “artistic narrative” where each listener can interpret emotions differently. For many fans, the T.O.P Another Dimension release represents his transformation into a full-fledged artist following his departure from group activities.

G-DRAGON Prepares for BigBang’s 20th Anniversary
Meanwhile, G-DRAGON continues to play a central role in shaping the group’s future. After renewing his contract with YG Entertainment, he released his solo project Home Sweet Home and is reportedly preparing for BigBang’s 20th anniversary album and world tour.
He recently hinted at a new chapter for the group, stating that BigBang would “enter a new rite of passage as adults,” fueling anticipation for a possible reunion.
Taeyang and Daesung Expand Their Own Paths
Taeyang continues to build his global presence following his album Down to Earth, collaborating with international artists while maintaining his signature R&B sound.
At the same time, Daesung remains active through music and entertainment. With ongoing tours in Japan and appearances on variety shows, he continues to engage fans with his recognizable vocal style and personality.
A Group Evolving, Not Ending
Rather than disbanding, BigBang appears to be evolving. Each member is pursuing individual directions—T.O.P through artistic reinvention, G-DRAGON through leadership and future planning, and Taeyang and Daesung through steady musical growth.
With 2026 marking the group’s 20th anniversary, industry watchers suggest this could be a defining year. Solo projects and potential group activities may coexist, offering fans both nostalgia and something entirely new.
For now, the message is clear: BigBang isn’t over—it’s simply entering a different dimension.
